The Beijing Philharmonic Choir from China is the winner of the 65th Edition of the International choral competition in Arezzo and will compete for the EGP 2018 in Maribor. This has been a memorable edition of the competition and many ex aequo prizes have confirmed the high quality of the choirs. The jury has appreciated in particular the extraordinary level of the performances in the category with monographic program. The ensemble Vocapella (Austria) and the Genova Vocal Ensemble (Italy) have shared the first prize. The Beijing Philharmonic Choir from China is the Winner of Arezzo 2017

Among 6 finalists of the 65th International Guido d'Arezzo Polyphonic Contest 2017 the 1st prize goes to the Beijing Philharmonic Choir from China. The choir is also the 4th finalist of EGP – European Grand Prix for Choral Singing next year in Maribor (Slovenia) on the 21. april 2018. The 65th International choral competition in Arezzo 2017 – finalists and live streaming

15 choirs, 7 categories (included gregorian chant), study tours, meetings with the artists, a great homage to Claudio Monteverdi in the 450th of his birth: these are the rich contents of the 65. edition of the International choral competition in Arezzo under the artistic direction of Lorenzo Donati.
