The »Guido d’Arezzo« Foundation announces the 72nd International Polyphonic Competition »Guido d’Arezzo«, to be held on 21-24 August 2024. The Competition is reserved to non-professional choral ensembles (see the Regulations, Art. 1), divided in two categories and respective sections:
CATEGORY A – »COMPETITION«
- Mixed choirs (from 16 to 36 singers)
- Equal-voice choirs (from 16 to 36 singers)
- Children’s choirs (from 16 to 36 singers born after September 1st, 2009; see art.6 Regulations)
- Vocal ensembles (from 4 to 16 singers)
CATEGORY B – »Festival«:
– Section 5 – 39thInternational Festival of Choral Folk Music (Traditional and folk music)
– Section 6 – Micrologus Prize (medieval liturgical monophonic singing)
